Dean Smith’s men, reeling from the news that Wesley and Tom Heaton will miss the rest of the season through injury, put in a spirited display to hold the Foxes, currently second in the Premier League.
The BBC’s man of the match was Villa skipper Jack Grealish, who turned in yet another talismanic display.
Grealish won 11 of his 16 duels on the night (per SofaScore), battles that were all too crucial on a night where his side had just 30% possession.
