Aston Villa fans can barely contain their excitement after John Percy reports John McGinn could be back in action by the end of March (The Telegraph).
The 25-year-old midfielder has been out since December with a fractured ankle, but reports are now saying he’s on his way back for the claret and blue.
Reports suggest that McGinn could be back in the famous Aston Villa strip by March 21st, just in time for the Villans crucial Premier League clash with Newcastle United.
McGinn has averaged a 7.26 rating this season, higher than any other Villa player except Jack Grealish (WhoScored). He has scored 3 goals, assisted 2 more and won 4 man of the match awards, meaning his return could be absolutely crucial to Villa’s fight for survival.
Here’s what Villa fans are saying on social media…
Can't come back soon enough. Since SJM picked up his injury we have really missed his tenacity in midfield.
