Many Aston Villa fans have responded on Twitter to claims that the club could be set to target Rhian Brewster and Kelechi Iheanacho for potential loan deals this January.
According to the Athletic, manager Dean Smith is looking to extend his choices of attackers to choose from, with Liverpool’s Brewster and Leicester’s Iheanacho both potential options.
Per the report, the club are also considering a number of other options across the top leagues in Europe as record signing Wesley goes through a bit of a dry patch without a goal in his past six games.
Brewster is allegedly available until the end of the season, while Iheanacho will have to force a loan move away – something he might have second thoughts about after his last-minute winner against Everton on Sunday. Although, it is claimed within the story that the Nigerian is getting fed up of his lack of game time and would like to be playing more.
Lots of supporters weren’t particularly happy with the rumours, with many suggesting they’d rather move for better players.

They obviously don’t want to pay over inflated prices, play for 17th or better, then look at the market in the summer. It’s a gamble really without a doubt we need another striker to replace Wes or fight for the position.

Iheanacho would be a good Loan to buy option he a point to prove and never fitted Leicester’s system. Think he could probably work for us and if it doesn’t work we don’t activate the signing clause.
