Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a report linking defender Tyrone Mings with a move to Everton and Manchester United.
Central defender Mings arrived at Villa last summer on a permanent deal worth just over £20m and he has played at the heart of Dean Smith’s defence for the most part this term, making a total of 32 appearances thus far in the Premier League.
Villa are currently involved in a relegation battle with the likes of West Ham United, Watford and Bournemouth, whilst Norwich City have already dropped down to the Championship.
With the potential of relegation to England’s second tier, Mings has now reportedly received interest from both Everton and Man United.
Following the reported interest, former Villa striker Kevin Phillips has now said that he believes that a move to Goodison Park would be ideal for Mings.
Reacting to a tweet by BirminghamLIVE who shared the news on Everton and United’s interest, many fans seemed willing to let him go for the right price and gave an opinion on how much they would sell the defender for.

A top manager has said he thinks Villa can’t afford to sell all their players as they are the assets of the club and needed to get them back up if Villa go down .

£45m. Appreciate people will baulk at that but if Maguire is £85m, Mings at half the price represents market value. #avfc
