Loads of fans are purring over footage of prime Christian Benteke, after a fan posted a montage of his best moments for Aston Villa.
The Villans have had their fair share of quality strikers down the years, with Gabriel Agbonlahor forever a fan favourite while loan star Tammy Abraham will always be remembered fondly for his role in their promotion last season.
Few were quite as dominant as Benteke at his best though, as the now £11.7m-rated (Transfermarkt) Belgian was nothing short of sensational during his time at Villa Park. Signed from Genk in 2012, the 6 foot 3 target man scored 49 times in 101 games for Villa.
What was perhaps even more special than his strike rate though was the manner of the goals he scored, as he bagged all sorts of strikes from everywhere on the pitch. From acrobatic volleys to thumping headers, the number 20 really could do it all, a far-cry from the man with just 22 goals in 111 appearances for Crystal Palace.
