A lot of Aston Villa fans aren’t happy by the latest reports from Football Insider which say that the club is close to sacking current manager Dean Smith and replacing him with his assistant, John Terry.
Dean Smith is currently under a lot of pressure as Villa currently sit 19th in the Premier League, with a tough set of fixtures coming up, and only ten games to fight for survival. Based on form, the club are currently bottom of the league level on points with Southampton, as they have only three points in their last five games.
After his amazing playing career at Chelsea, John Terry finished playing as a centreback with the Midlands giants in the 2017/18 season, before retiring and joining the coaching staff at the club.
Still, despite his trophy-laden player career, his experience as a coach is clearly limited, and even with Dean Smith’s poor run, it would be a huge risk replacing him with someone who is as inexperienced as Terry.

Nooooo!! Terry used to have the respect of the players but the players have changed. I’m not sure he’s getting the best out of them judging by how they’ve been playing lately 😕 but what’s the point of sacking Smith so close to the end of season?
Is Poch still available?😉😉— DianeB (@Starrygem4) March 11, 2020
Making the situation even worse 😂, only villa could do that

Well that’s not going to solve anything is it? Rubbish.
