Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane has added further comments on the future of teammate Jack Grealish.
Having helped guide the Villans to promotion from the Championship last season, club captain Grealish has gone on to have arguably the best season of his playing career to date. Seven goals and six assists in the Premier League have contributed to Villa’s cause, although the Midlands-based club sit 19th in the league table ahead of a potential return after the coronavirus pandemic.
Such good form for the midfielder has prompted interest from a number of clubs, including the likes of Manchester United and Everton.
Hourihane, who has been outspoken before about the 24-year-old’s future, has now added further comment, claiming the summer will hand him a ‘tough decision’ to make.
Reacting to a tweet sharing Hourihane’s comments, these Villa fans have given their opinions, with some claiming the midfielder should ‘focus on his football’ instead of commenting on his teammate’s future.

The club has ambition and is running things the right way now. We will need to keep Jack, strengthen the squad further and really start to build a sustainable system with a proper youth setup. We must keep Jack and strengthen with him in the squad.
