Loads of Aston Villa fans have been saying the same thing in response to a recent social media post from the club.
Villa’s official Twitter account decided to share a preview of an interview with midfielder Marvelous Nakamba. However, instead of focusing on the content that had just been shared, supporters opted to bombard the post with requests for a striker to be signed.
Nakamba perhaps deserved some praise underneath the club’s tweet. According to WhoScored, he has been the Villans’ best tackler after Frederic Guilbert this season, averaging 2.8 tackles per Premier League game. Still, cries from fans for a new No.9 are only natural.
With Wesley out for the rest of the season and the team caught up in a relegation battle, Dean Smith could really do with a centre-forward being brought in this month.
