Aston Villa fans absolutely love Anwar El Ghazi and the fact he got sent off against Leeds is completely irrelevant as it will surely almost certainly be rescinded. In the meantime, as they wait for that, they’ve been given some other good news surrounding El Ghazi, as L’equipe claim Lille will be prepared to let him leave as they aim to raise transfer funds in summer.

The Dutch winger is an incredible player and has really started to shine at Villa Park over the last couple of weeks. However, the Villains were convinced long before his recent spell of form that El Ghazi is the man for the job, and Dean Smith will have known for a long time that he simply he has to sign the on-loan LOSC Lille man permanently to Villa Park.
Whether or not the club become a Premier League side by successfully navigating the playoffs is irrelevant, as the price of just £5 million that was agreed into El Ghazi’s loan deal has to be taken up at the end of the season. The ex-Ajax academy man is more than good enough to feature in the Premier League and given the Villains’ affection for the winger, he’ll likely have no hesitation signing up.
