Aston Villa fans have been desperate to get some of their stars back fit for a while now and as soon as they get some good news on the injury front, it’s always followed up with something negative. The Villains will be travelling to Stoke tomorrow and they could be without up to six first-teamers for the important clash.

There are a lot of similarities between Stoke City and Aston Villa. Both of the clubs were Premier League sides not so long ago, they both have Premier League calibre players in their squads, they’re both underperforming this season and they’ve both appointed new managers to improve their style of play. However, given the injury woes in Birmingham, the Potters are surely going to be the favourites.
Nathan Jones is looking to get a much-needed win under his belt at the Bet365 Stadium amd given Dean Smith’;s long injury list he should get it. The travelling Villa fans will be without Jack Grealish, Axel Tuanazebe, James Chester and Henri Lansbury, whilst Tom Carroll is also a doubt and Lovre Kalinic is 50-50. The fans are livid that they’re without so many top players, though, and will be desperate to get back to winning ways after being winless in four.

The Villains are far from pleased with their injury problems and will hope they can get some key players back fit for Derby next Saturday.
