A lot of Aston Villa fans are discussing whether current striker Keinan Davis deserves a new contract after @AVFC_News posed the question, with his current deal set to run out at the end of this season.
The 22-year-old has made 47 league appearances for Villa since he arrived on a free from non-league Biggleswade Town in 2015, per Transfermarkt. His two goals for the side came in the Championship, and eight of his appearances have been this season but they have all been as a substitute.
Clearly Davis has been struggling for game time since the side were promoted to England’s top flight and it seems that many fans do not think he has enough quality to remain at Villa Park, with one calling him ‘dreadful‘.
There are still 10 games left in the Premier League for him to prove himself before his contract runs out and he could do this by contributing with some goals when called upon to help prevent the team from being relegated. They currently sit 19th, via BBC Sport, but they are only two points from safety, so there is every chance that they will still be playing in the same division next season.
Here is what fans said about the player:

is the 22-year-old worthy of a new deal, has looked bright but injuries have hampered KD this term pic.twitter.com/DZiUgxIIFQ

He’s made of glass 🤷♀️ so that’ll be a no from me. I like O’Hare 👍 he looked like he’d been hit by a truck a couple of weeks back an still never missed a single game for Coventry🤕

Get rid, not good enough. You will then see him fall down the league, possibly end playing at Blackpool. He reminds me of delfonsiou average at a push

He needs to go I’m afraid. Has showed he can hold a ball up, but doesn’t know where the net is.

No personally I don’t think he’s at the level he needs to be for our position, will do well in a few years if he can sort the injuries out but lower level pro for me imo

No will never score enough goals in the Premier league or The Championship,to be fair would probably struggle to score goals in league 1 #avfc

Get rid. He’s had chances. Absolutely dreadful player.
