Many Aston Villa fans have debated whether or not Jack Grealish will become a regular England starter and get a chance at the European Championships in 2021.
The 24-year-old has had arguably his best season in a Villa shirt, scoring an impressive seven goals and gaining six assists in the Premier League.
Villa, who sit 19th in the Premier League table, will hope to retain their top-flight status and hold on to Grealish, slapping an £80m price-tag on his shoulders. Such good performances have seen the midfielder gain recognition from fans, pundits and rival teams, including interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton emerged.
Having featured for England’s under-21 side over the last few seasons, Grealish is now being considered for a call-up by England boss Gareth Southgate.
Reacting to a question posed by Transfer Tavern’s Ben Crump via Facebook group Aston Villa Loyal Fans Forum, which asked: “So with Euro’s now being next year, do we think Jack Grealish will start for England or be a squad player?”, these Villa fans gave their verdicts…
