Aston Villa club captain Jack Grealish has posted an image of himself returning to England for pre-season training.
The Birmingham-born attacking midfielder made a total of 36 appearances for the Claret and Blue last season, netting eight goals and gaining six assists (as per Transfermarkt).
Such good form saw the 24-year-old enhance his reputation and provide Dean Smith with a key performer as Villa fought off the threat of relegation and remained in the Premier League for the 2020/21 season.
Linked with a summer move away from Villa Park, Grealish’s performances have enticed the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to show interest. Whilst that discussion has taken place among several media outlets, reports have somewhat softened since the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Grealish, who has been enjoying a summer break abroad, has now prompted Villa fans to be optimistic that he will remain at the club by posting an image of his return to England on Instagram.
