In response to Jack Grealish’s message on Twitter following Aston Villa’s heartbreaking Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester City, many supporters have taken the opportunity to praise their captain for his complimentary message.
Grealish, who has been linked with a move away from Villa Park to Premier League giants Manchester United (Birmingham Mail), uploaded a message to the supporters and club alike on Twitter – explaining how his side ‘gave everything‘ whilst also going on to say that Villa is ‘My team‘. The Englishman, who is currently enjoying an impressive season for the Villans, scoring seven goals and assisting six others from midfield whilst completing 2.8 key passes per game on average (WhoScored), played well at Wembley on Sunday – amassing a 75% pass success rate while winning half of his ground duels (SofaScore).
