According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Aston Villa ‘touched base‘ with Manchester United last month over the sale of star midfielder Jack Grealish – with many Villa fans since going on to lambaste the consistent reports linking him with a move away.
The MEN claim that United, who are huge admirers of Grealish, have attempted to execute a deal for the Englishman already – getting in contact with Villa back in February in order to touch base and make something happen for the summer. This report also insists that United were monitoring Grealish last year as the Villans’ won promotion back to the top flight, with chances of landing the 24-year-old key man becoming slim when Villa managed to regain their Premier League status.
Grealish, who has scored seven goals and assisted six others in the league this season while making 2.8 key passes per game (WhoScored), is a key asset for Dean Smith’s side – with many supporters less than keen on seeing him depart the Midlands.

This is boring give it a break. I have no doubt that he will leave in the summer IF we are relegated but if Jude Bellingham is worth £30 million at just 16 with a hand full of games in the championship then Grealish isn’t gonna be cheap. Deep pockets who ever comes in for him.
