Aston Villa posted all three of Cameron Archer’s goals against Burton Albion on their official Twitter page on Wednesday.

And a number of Villa supporters were quick to share their positive comments on social media.

The 19-year-old, who has already scored four goals in as many senior appearances under Dean Smith this season, was at it again for the club’s Under-23 side in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday.

Villa found themselves 2-0 down to the League One side before Archer pulled one back just before half-time with a fine left-footed strike from outside the box.

He then put Villa ahead after Tristan Abldeen-Goodridge levelled the scores and sealed a superb hat-trick with 20 minutes remaining. All of Archer’s well-taken goals are available to view here.

Villa fans react

Villa shared the footage regarding the forward on Wednesday evening. This is what these fans had to say in reply, with one simply describing Archer as ‘special’.

“I am very excited with the talent we've brought into our academy but this lad has been with us since the age of 6 and is therefore the most exciting of all. Cam, take a bow.”

This lad - just looks so natural in front of goal. Genuinely come out of nowhere and is putting real pressure on to be in the starting team. What a talent.
