Aston Villa unveiled their third kit for the 2021/22 campaign on Thursday morning.

However, the club’s new strip didn’t hit the right note with a number of Villa supporters on social media.

The club already shared their new home and away strips before the start of the season, which have been in record demand, and have now released their third kit.

Produced by Kappa and sponsored by Cazoo, Villa went with a navy design with celadon green on the club badge, collar and sleeves.

Out of the three kits, Villa will more than likely wear their third strip the least over the course of the campaign, but that hasn’t stopped a number of supporters hitting out at the kit following its release.

Villa fans react

The club shared their latest kit on their official Twitter page. These Villa fans weren’t exactly thrilled with the design and shared their frustration, with one labelling it as ‘abysmal’.
