Aston Villa unveiled their new away kit for the 2020/21 season on Friday, with a number of supporters sharing their positive thoughts on the strip on social media.

Villa were in the news for a number of reasons on Friday, with reports suggesting Manchester City offered £100m for Jack Grealish.

More transfer news then claimed Villa have had a £25m offer for Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse rejected.

However, it was the club’s new away kit, made by Kappa and sponsored by Cazoo, that caught the eye of Villa fans early on Friday morning.

Villa’s kit for away trips this season was inspired by the club’s European Cup triumph in 1981. Villa went for a white design with claret pinstripes to celebrate their famous 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in Rotterdam.
