Plenty of Aston Villa fans have been sharing their love towards youngsters Carney Chukwuemeka and Jayden Philogene-Bidace on Twitter after they were interviewed following their first-team debuts.

Villa ran out 2-1 winners over Tottenham on Wednesday evening, with Dean Smith bringing both Chukwuemeka and Philogene-Bidace on from the bench late on.

A Sergio Reguilon own goal and an Ollie Watkins effort were enough to turn things around in the opening 45 minutes and give Villa the three points to take them over 50 for the campaign.

Chukwuemeka, 17, replaced Marvelous Nakamba and nearly sealed the win, however, his effort in stoppage time hit the post.

Meanwhile, Philogene-Bidace, 19, came on for Bertrand Traore, and the pair were interviewed by the club’s official media team shortly after the full-time whistle.
