Sky Sports shared Aston Villa’s interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey on Wednesday evening, which left a number of Villa fans excited on social media.

The Daily Mail shared the initial links to Bailey on Wednesday morning, suggesting Villa were eyeing up a £30m offer for the Jamaican.

Sky Sports’ piece confirmed The Daily Mail’s report and claimed that Bailey is indeed a target for Villa.

Bailey scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists for Leverkusen last season, playing in four different positions for the Bundesliga side.
