Aston Villa shared details regarding changes to their upcoming fixture with Southampton in November.

And a number of Villa supporters were quick to hit out at the confirmed update on social media.

The Premier League shared alterations to a number of fixtures in November on Wednesday due to UK broadcast selections.

Villa have been impacted with their trip to the St Mary’s, with the game now set to take place on Friday, November 5 with an 8pm kick-off. The clash against the Saints will be shown live on Sky Sports as a result.

It will be Villa’s fifth game live on Sky Sports this season, with meetings against Arsenal and West Ham set to be broadcast before November, following on from a defeat to Chelsea and a victory over Everton.
