Italian side Atalanta have made a £34.5m offer for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz. The offer is made up of a guaranteed £30m fee plus bonuses up to a further £4.5m.
Sky Sports has reported that the player is keen on the move but Fulham hope to keep him having so far failed to make any first team signings. The timing of the deal is also an issue for Fulham, who would want a replacement before agreeing to a departure.
Muniz has a year left on his contract but Fulham have the option to extend for a further year. The Brazilian has impressed in his two seasons in the Premier League.
He scored nine goals in 26 Premier League appearances in his debut campaign in 2023/24 after joining from Championship side Middlesbrough. He scored eight goals in 31 appearances last season as he split time with Raul Jimenez.
Atalanta pushing for Muniz deal

Muniz is ten years Jimenez’s junior, and Fulham see the 24 year-old as their long term No.9. Muniz has been the subject of much interest this summer, with Fulham rejecting an earlier bid of similar value for the player from newly promoted Leeds.
The Cottagers were believed to be reluctant to sell the player to a Premier League rival. Leeds have now agreed personal terms with free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Fulham’s reluctance to sell could also stem from the fact that the Cottagers have yet to sign any new players of their own this summer. Manager Marco Silva is understood to want to add two new wingers, a striker and maybe an advanced midfielder.
The club is in talks over another loan move for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson who spent much of last season at the club but suffered an injury that cut his time short. They have also been linked with Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling and Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.
