It has been a busy couple of days for Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern and according to The Times, that looks set to continue.
The Red Devils will have to make a decision over the future of Javier Hernandez in the coming weeks with Atletico Madrid still keen on signing the forward star.
As oneĀ of our punters notes, Hernandez has been on the sidelines for too long at Old Trafford and would happily take a summer move should the right one come along.
With Diego Simeone losing both Diego Costa and David Villa this summer, he is desperate to bring in another forward to partner new boy Mario Mandzukic and feels Hernandez could be perfect.
United meanwhile would sell the forward and we think that given the links with Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani, things could well get quite crowded quite quickly at Old Trafford this summer.
This meansĀ United may be willing to lower the asking price of Hernandez and allow him to leave for less than originally first thought.
Manchester United fans. Would you be sorry to see Hernandez go? Has he even been given a proper chance by the club? Let us know your thoughts below.
