Many Barcelona fans were unimpressed by the performances from many of their players during the 2-1 win over Slavia Prague, but there wasn’t much disappointment aimed towards Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The Germany international made a total of 8 saves, 1 punch, 1 high claim and 1 clearance during the game, as per SofaScore.
This performance saw the 27-year-old get plenty of praise, as he helped earn the three points that kept the team top of their Champions League group:

While many Barca fans praised the club’s number 1, they also showed concern about how much he was relied upon to get the three points.
For him to have to make so many saves in a game against that level of opposition, is seen as a sign that the rest of the team were not performing to a high enough standard, in the minds of many fans.
