Messi’s performance last night saw him receive high praise from former Barcelona favourite Gary Lineker, as he praised the Argentine’s passing ability and goalscoring ability.
The victory sees the Camp Nou giants rise to the top of La Liga, two points ahead of Granada, who face Getafe on Thursday evening.
