Newcastle United managed to secure another three points last time out against Burnley as they extended their winning streak to three games.
The Magpies have enjoyed a rich vein of form in recent weeks as they continue to climb up the Premier League table, with a successful January transfer window possibly launching them into European contention.
Interestingly, Newcastle United will welcome West Ham United to St James’ Park in their next Premier League fixture. The Hammers were thrashed by Manchester City at the London Stadium last time out, so they’ll be desperate to return to winning ways later on today.
With that in mind, Rafa Benitez must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO Newcastle players…
JONJO SHELVEY

Jonjo Shelvey has been one of the standout performers for Newcastle United this season, despite spending a period of time out on the sidelines with an injury.
The Englishman had to settle for a place on the substitutes’ bench last time out having only recently returned from injury, so Ki Sung-yeung and Mohamed Diame were preferred in the middle of the park.
However, with a tough West Ham United test up next, Benitez should think about bringing the experienced midfielder back into the side to replace Diame, who offered absolutely nothing against the Clarets.
SALOMON RONDON

Salomon Rondon has quickly established himself as Newcastle United’s star attacker since making the loan move from West Bromwich Albion back in the summer.
The Venezuelan currently has three goals and one assist to his name in nine appearances, which is certainly a better record than fans have come to witness in recent years at St James’ Park, with Joselu in their ranks.
So, after winning the corner that led to the second goal and a number of aerial duels last time out, he will be looking to have an even bigger impact on proceedings today by adding to his tally against a nervy West Ham defence.
