‘Best in the world’ - Man Utd fans have a lot of praise for one man in particular after Stoke City demolition

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are still celebrating their side’s dominant win over Stoke City on Monday. The Red Devils looked impressive as they picked up a 3-0 win over the Potters, with Jose Mourinho’s men looking very good.

It hasn’t been an easy campaign for Man Utd, but with Man City dropping three points on Sunday, the onus was on them to capitalise. That’s exactly what they did, and in some fashion too.

Every single Man Utd player looked good, but one player has earned more praise than most as a result of his performance.

Paul Pogba’s first 18 months at Man Utd has been far from easy, with mixed form and injury woes hampering his progress, but it’s fair to say that he was a star on Monday night. Controlling the game through the midfield, the Frenchman had a massive impact going forward and looked strong defensively too.

Following the game, he took to Twitter to reflect on the result, and it’s fair to say that he was greeted with an influx of adoring fans. They haven’t always been supportive of him, but the Man Utd faithful over on Twitter are firmly behind the Frenchman now given his recent form.
