‘Best news ever’ - Chelsea fans celebrate as Conte delivers very exciting update

Though Chelsea were able to beat Everton on Wednesday, the fans in the Transfer Tavern are still concerned. It was a very good game from the Blues, with players including Willian, Ethan Ampadu and Andreas Christensen all impressing on the night. However, as recent form has dictated, the real test awaits on Saturday for Chelsea. The Blues have found it tough to put together a solid run of wins over the last few weeks, and our landlord has put that down to one major factor – the absence of N’Golo Kante.

The Frenchman has been missing for a few weeks, with the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko tasked with replacing him, but unfortunately, that hasn’t worked out for the Blues. Kante’s style of play is just so unique that it’s tough for anyone else to replicate that, and Chelsea’s system has to change as a result. It’s no surprise, then, that a recent revelation from Antonio Conte that the Frenchman is returning to fitness earned loud cheers in the Transfer Tavern.
