Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern were again disappointed by their side following a 2-2 draw at home to Apollon Limassol on Thursday.
Ronald Koeman’s men have been struggling for form in the last few weeks but did get back to winning ways at the weekend by beating AFC Bournemouth, thus giving them a much-needed confidence boost to take into their Europa League campaign.
Yet the Toffees were unable to record their first win of the group stages after only mustering a 2-2 draw at home to Cypriot side Apollon Limassol, with the visitors ending the contest with ten men following a red card for Valentin Roberge.
Wayne Rooney and Nikola Vlasic got the goals for Koeman’s men in what was another frustrating night for our resident Evertonians, who have now seen their side win just two of their last seven games in all competitions.
And, unsurprisingly, their woeful run of form has increased the pressure on manager Koeman, and many Toffees supporters on Twitter called for a major change following Thursday’s disappointing draw.
And with Carlo Ancelotti out of a job following his sacking at Bayern Munich on Thursday, it is he who many Evertonians want to replace the Dutchman at Goodison Park…
