Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are already thinking about what they expect to be a busy summer window at Old Trafford.

There’s still plenty to play for this season for the Red Devils with the EFL Cup final tomorrow and both the FA Cup and Europa League still to be hunted down.

And, after what could be a trophy-laden season, the club will surely look to build on things once the next transfer window opens.

Indeed, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon the club could see Real Madrid offer Raphael Varane in a swap for David De Gea in what would be a very intriguing deal.

That surely won’t be the only business to be conducted by the club, though, and our landlord thinks he has a good idea of what could be in-store.

So, with that in mind, here are two more deals United could potentially pull off…

Victor Lindelof

According to The Sun, Daley Blind be out on his ear to make room for this man.

Lindelof has created a good reputation for himself at Benfica this season as well as for the Swedish national team and could be a big part of United’s future. Mourinho is beginning to build a strong young defence and Lindelof would surely help complete it.

Antoine Griezmann

The Frenchman is truly world class and may be up for a new challenge away from Atletico Madrid this summer.

He scores goals for fun when he is on form but Atleti have struggled to find the zest of previous seasons – suggesting a shake-up is needed. United could prosper, then, with the likes of The Express suggesting that a move to Old Trafford could be just around the corner.
