Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been left far from impressed by their club’s performances this season, as the Gunners fell well short of their objectives.
A fifth placed finish sealed their worst Premier League position ever under the guidance of Arsene Wenger and the Gunners are set to be without Champions League football next season for the first time in two decades, leading many to be concerned about the calibre of players they could attract this summer.
Arsenal are under an intense period of uncertainty with speculation persisting on the futures of key-players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, whilst question marks continue to remain on Wenger’s future at the club.
Things have taken a further twist in the past week following news of Alisher Usmanov’s attempt to takeover from Stan Kroenke, throwing another aspect of the club into uncertainty, and Arsenal fans are left in a position where they have no idea what their side will look like all season.
Amidst all this, Arsenal will continue to run as a business and the movement for season ticket renewals is well underway, with the Gunners promoting their offers and confirming that there will be a decline in price following the failure to finish in the Premier League’s top-four.
Whilst it’s a positive piece of news, many fans aren’t too impressed by the news and believe it’s not good enough, as they’re demanding change before investing further money…..
