Plenty of Celtic fans have been reacting to comments made by the soon to be ex-chairman of their crosstown rivals.
Dave King announced yesterday that he intends to step down as chairman of Rangers within the next four months when speaking at the club’s annual general meeting. [via Sky Sports]

He told shareholders that he was no longer needed at the club after leading them from the “crisis” in which they found themselves when he came to Glasgow in March 2015 (as per Sky Sports), a quote shared by @ClydeSSB in communicating the story.

Rangers were on their way to finishing third in the Championship at the time that King took over as chairperson, and while they have since risen to regain their place in the top two in the Premiership, they did not manage to make a serious title challenge in that time, finishing nine and 12 points behind champions Celtic in the last two seasons.
They have also incurred combined losses of £25m in that time, as per Sky Sports, having been liquidated in 2012 and the business and its assets subsequently sold to Sevco Scotland Ltd (as archived from SPFL.co.uk).
These Celtic fans on Twitter ridiculed King over his remarks about leading their crosstown rivals out of “crisis”:
Sevco 2.0 is imminent

They were breaking even before he came along. They have just been cold shouldered. Led them into crisis more like. Celtic have won everything since he took over 😂😂
