It’s been a pretty good season all round for the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern, who’ve watched their side speed up a level or two ever since Brendan Rodgers was handed the reigns over the summer.
In fact, even the youth systems are proving exciting for the Bhoys, with 13-year-old Karamoko Dembele hitting headlines by debuting for the U20’s recently.
One of the most prodigious talents on the continent, the teenager went viral with his outing.
So, the Hoops propping up the bar have been handed some good news following reports from Spain, considering the fact they hope Dembele will be the future of their club.
According to Catalan paper Sport, Barcelona have pulled out of any deal to try and lure him to Camp Nou, despite being thoroughly impressed with him at youth level.
While Man United and Man City are both understood to be eager to sign him, the Blaugrana are believed to be wary of further FIFA sanctions after they were previously banned for two transfer windows following their conduct when signing youngsters.
