The green and white half of Glasgow has been positively beaming during this season, with Celtic still yet to taste defeat in the league and cruising towards the SPL title at an absolute canter.

Ex-Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has delighted the Celtic supporters here in the Transfer Tavern with some stunning management, which has seen the Hoops’ faithful buzzing at the prospect of next season too.

A couple of Celtic supporters are in positive spirits here in the Tavern and they are looking at Chelsea’s squad and choosing players who they would like to see the Scottish club realistically sign during the summer.

Chelsea have a plethora of talent at their disposal and there is no reason why Celtic shouldn’t look to tap into the prospect of loaning some of the Blues’ promising youngsters.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

The young midfielder was in fine form for the England U21 team last weekend but his chances of playing regular football for Chelsea do look slim in the immediate future.

Now 21-years-old, the youngster needs to be playing frequent football if he is to progress and Celtic could give him the perfect platform to play in a winning side.

One Celtic fan is playing darts here in the Tavern and he thinks that Loftus-Cheek would be seen as a real coup for a club in the SPL, stating that Rodgers needs to ensure that it happens.

Ola Aina

The young Chelsea defender has featured twice for the first-team during this campaign and next season could be the season where he earns his wings away from Stamford Bridge during a loan spell.

The England youth international is a solid right-back and he would love the concept of playing week in, week out for a team playing in the Champions League and who wins most weeks on the domestic front.

One Celtic fan is helping the landlord get set up for tonight’s big disco here in the Tavern and he concedes that he knows very little about Aina, although he accepts that any young lad who has made the step up to Chelsea’s first-team gets his seal of approval.
