Change it up: Wenger should give these 2 talented Arsenal players a chance vs Doncaster

Things are beginning to look up for the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern…

After a torrid start to the season, the Gunners are now undefeated in three games, having picked up wins against Bournemouth and FC Köln and having drawn with Chelsea over the weekend.

It’s a far cry from the two losses they had in the first three games of the season, and that can only be a good thing for the Gunners.

They’ve got to keep the momentum going, though, and so they can’t take their upcoming Carabao Cup game against Doncaster lightly. The English side will pose a threat, but it could also offer an opportunity for a few fringe players to stake a claim.

There is a lot of talent in the Arsenal squad, and some of it hasn’t had a chance to shine yet. Giving them that opportunity will only be a good thing for the club long-term.

With that said, Wenger should give these 2 talented Arsenal players a chance vs Doncaster…

Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelsen is a player that is on the fringes of the Arsenal first team, and he’s exciting everyone in the Transfer Tavern.

An attacker by trade, he has a lot of competition to get a regular starting berth, but a few good performances in the Carabao Cup could fire him towards stardom at the Emirates.

He has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but he has the talent to back up the expectation. If he is selected, expect a great performance.

 Rob Holding

Rob Holding’s confidence has looked shot this season, and so he needs a good performance to help him bring it back.

Doncaster won’t pose much of a challenge going forward, and so this could be the perfect game to bring him back in.

The defender has so much talent, and he will be a star someday, but he needs to get past this bad run of form and impress. This is the perfect game for that process to start.
