Chelsea fans were left slamming Callum Hudson-Odoi after the rating he was given by Sofascore following England’s 4-0 win over Kosovo in their final qualifier for next summer’s European Championship.
When he was substituted in the 59th minute, the 19-year-old was rated as the best England player (Sofascore) but it’s fair to say fans didn’t agree with the rating.
During his time on the pitch, Hudson-Odoi had the second-most shots and completed the joint-most dribbles of any player (via WhoScored).
His performance was blasted by ITV pundit Roy Keane, who claimed the winger didn’t take his chance he was handed (ITV via The Sun).
The Chelsea attacker has only recently returned from an Achilles injury suffered towards the end of last season and has started just five games for the Blues this campaign (via Transfermarkt).
Fans were in grave disagreement with the rating given by Sofascore as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the west London faithful:
This is reason why the eye taste is always better than stats.Odoi was very poor honestly.
