Chelsea fans react to Ross Barkley’s Player of the Month nomination

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has been nominated for Premier League’s Player of the Month award for October.

The England international had a mesmeric month in the league in which he played three times, scoring three and assisting three from the heart of Chelsea’s three-man-midfield as the Blues maintained their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season.

The former Everton ace has been a starter under new manager Maurizio Sarri and has been provided with the freedom to roam in between the lines and aid the attack as much as possible – it is this role which has helped him be so productive so far this season.

With such displays against Southampton and Burnley, alongside a cameo off the bench against Manchester United in which he bagged a late equaliser, the 24-year-old appears to be becoming a favourite among the Chelsea faithful.
