Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting excited, with the Daily Mail claiming that the Blues are eyeing a move for Arsenal and Manchester United target Youri Tielemans.
The 17-year-old midfielder is one of the most sought after young talents in European football, and has been scouted by a number of top clubs, including United and Arsenal.
Tielemans currently plies his trade for Belgian side Anderlecht and has already managed to amass 49 appearances for the club.
The midfielder has been a prominent player in the Belgium national side’s youth setup, having played from under-15 level all the way up to under-21 level.
A pocket of Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern over by the bar, believe signing Tielemans would be excellent, and would showcase the club’s ability to lure Europe’s best players.
Meanwhile, United and Arsenal fans over by the pool table in the Transfer Tavern are deliberating, and feel that Tielemans joining Chelsea would be the wrong move for him, with many feeling he would just be another player to be sent out on loan.
