Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are reacting concerned to suggestions that an Arsenal target could be allowed to leave their club on January.
The Times state Chelsea will allow Charley Musonda to leave on-loan in January, with the talented teenager interesting Premier League rivals Arsenal and Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
Musonda was promised first-team football at the beginning of the season but has not been awarded that chance, which may be in-part due to Chelsea’s woeful start to the season; where they have staggeringly lost six of their opening 11.
However, Musonda is naturally feeling aggrieved and seems set for a January departure; although it appears Chelsea want this to be short-term, rather than a permanent exit.
The worst-case scenario would see the talented youngster move across London to join rivals Arsenal, potentially becoming a star under the guidance of Arsene Wenger.
