Chelsea fans are eager to hear what Metro has to say about Andre Schurrle here in the Football Transfer Tavern and we cannot blame them.

According to the publication, the Blues are set to receive an offer for the German international forward from Champions League opponents Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite what Schurrle says in public about his future belonging with Chelsea, we think that privately he would consider a top club who offered him more playing time than he currently receives.

Currently the German has only started five Premier League games under Jose Mourinho this season and is certainly struggling to impose himself in games at times and is certainly the fall guy when Mourinho needs to make a substitution.

PSG are desperate to save their own season which looks like it could falter at any moment and seem too think that Schurrle could be the one to help them do that.

However, we certainly think that Chelsea will try and hold onto the player at least until the end of the season when a replacement can be found.
