The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see Cristiano Ronaldo back at Old Trafford as soon as possible.
Ronaldo carved out a legendary career at Old Trafford following a move from his native Portugal. He blossomed from a player with incredible potential into a simply incredible player – and he achieved a lot at Old Trafford in the process.
Naturally, though, as he improved and his stock rose, so did interest in him, and he eventually made the move to Real Madrid.
Everyone knows the story from then on, with the Portuguese now undoubtedly one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
It won’t come as a surprise, then, to learn that Man Utd fans want him back at Old Trafford, and those discussions have cropped up again today following another stunning performance from him in the World Cup.
After a great display on the opening day, Ronaldo again sealed a good result for Portugal today (Wednesday), scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Morocco.
This has got the Man Utd fans on Twitter talking, and it’s fair to say that they’re desperate for the lethal attacker to return to the Premier League and to return to Old Trafford.
