The Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern enjoyed a turn-around in form against Hull at the weekend…
A bold formation change by Antonio Conte got the Blues firing once again, with the often used 4-1-4-1 replaced by a fluid 3-5-2.
Key players including Branislav Ivanovic were dropped to the bench in favour of new players like Marcos Alonso, and the Blues looked better for it.
Our landlord has been calling for these changes for weeks – and he doesn’t think Antonio Conte should stop there.
In fact, he thinks there are a few players that Conte must drop going forward…
With that said, Antonio Conte MUST drop these TWO Chelsea players in every game from now on…
Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill has, for the longest time, been one of the most consistent defenders in Chelsea’s first team.
Very much in the ilk of John Terry, Cahill is, without doubt, one of the most committed members of the Chelsea first team – and he certainly deserves credit for that.
However, there is no denying that he has been out of form as of late – and some time on the bench could allow him time to recuperate and reassess his form.
The impending returns of Kurt Zouma and John Terry will give Antonio Conte ample defensive cover in the Englishman’s absence.
Branislav Ivanovic

Branislav Ivanovic is another member of Chelsea’s defensive line that has been consistent over the last few years – but over the last season it has become clear that he is no longer the player that he was 5 years ago.
Age and a lack of form have caught up to him, and he now finds himself as the weak spot of the Chelsea back line.
He was dropped at the weekend in favour of Victor Moses in a wing-back role – and given Moses’ fantastic performance; it is hard to see a route back into the first team for the Serbian.
He will never be forgotten for his heroics in a Blue shirt – but his time as a Chelsea starter is over.
