The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are demanding a win against Man Utd this weekend. They’ve been hiding behind their pint glasses all week long after their side suffered a humiliating defeat against Roma on Tuesday, and that’s unlikely to change unless the Blues are able to comfortably defeat Jose Mourinho’s men.
To be fair to Conte, his side’s recent league form has been pretty good, and so in that sense, the Blues are shaping up pretty well for the game. If the Chelsea fans over on Twitter are to be believed, though, a loss is now inevitable thanks to Conte’s latest team news ahead of the game.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, via Chelsea’s official Twitter, Conte has revealed that Gary Cahill will be involved against the Red Devils, and perhaps unsurprisingly, the Chelsea fans aren’t happy.
Cahill has become somewhat of a scapegoat this season, given the mistakes that he has made, and despite the fact that he has actually been one of Chelsea’s better players in recent weeks, the Englishman is taking a lot of flack once again…
