Darren Moore and West Brom given timely update ahead of Leeds clash

West Bromwich Albion’s Championship campaign has been derailed recently, with the Baggies having not won a match in their last four matches which has seen them drop out of the playoffs.

Darren Moore’s side had started the season in blistering form, but they have since struggled for results and have seen the goals dry up as well.

And, things do not get easier for The Hawthorns outfit at the weekend when they meet Championship leaders Leeds United in the evening game.

However, according to the Birmingham Mail, it appears as though Moore may have been handed a huge boost ahead of the meeting with the Whites.

Albion expect to have Kieran Gibbs, Dwight Gayle and Gareth Barry back available after all three have spent time on the sidelines with injuries.

Gibbs was not risked in their defeat to Hull City last weekend following his recent hip injury, whilst Barry and Gayle have been struggling with calf injuries.

The Verdict:

Moore and West Brom will be delighted to have the trio available for the visit of Leeds on Saturday and it will come as a huge boost to the side.

The Baggies know that they will need to be at their very best against the Championship leaders if they are to come away with a positive result and the returning trio will give them the best chance.

Albion have been going through a rough patch, however, as we have seen, anyone can beat anyone in the division and Moore will know his side can push their opponents all the way.
