The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a busy few days between now and the end of the month…

After all, a few decent results over the last few weeks have really put the wind in the Arsenal faithful’s sail – with many now expecting Arsene Wenger to steal a march on Antonio Conte as the season progresses.

In truth, Arsenal are looking closer than ever to finally retrieving the Premier League trophy – but a few changes in personnel certainly wouldn’t go amiss.

Their rise has had much more to do with the sides around them struggling, rather than their own personal form, and if Arsene Wenger wants to ensure that his side impresses long-term – he needs to ensure that a few players come in and a few players go out.

So, with that said, with just a few days between now and the end of the month – this is the transfer business Arsenal need to conduct this week…

 In – Danilo

According to A Bola, Danilo is reportedly on the radar of Arsene Wenger – and what a signing he would be.

A powerful defensive midfielder, Danilo would fit perfectly into the heart of the Arsenal midfield – especially with the question marks over Granit Xhaka at present following his dismissal over the weekend.

A defensive midfielder by trade, Danilo is also impressive going forward – and has scored 2 goals so far this season. A bit of midfield tenacity is just what Arsenal need, and the 25-year-old would certainly provide that.

 Out – Mathieu Debuchy

Mathieu Debuchy is unlikely to get much of a look-in as the season progresses – and a move away simply makes sense.

In truth, he should have left over the summer – with Hector Bellerin always going to be preferred in his place.

He has suffered a few injuries lately, so he isn’t reliable enough to have as a back-up – and a departure makes sense for player and club.

 Out – Carl Jenkinson

Carl Jenkinson looked likely to go on loan earlier in the month, but as of yet – he is still an Arsenal player.

However, much like Debuchy, he isn’t going to get much game time going forward. He is still young, though, so a loan move could make a lot of sense.

He impressed on loan last season, and another impressive few months could see him finally be given a chance next season under Arsene Wenger.

If he remains, he is unlikely to play, and that could cause him to stagnate.
