The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern think that one more player could make the Red Devils’ summer perfect…

Some big names have moved to Old Trafford in recent weeks. Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku will take the Red Devils to another level this term, whilst signings like Victor Lindelof will help Jose Mourinho prepare for the future.

By all accounts, Man Utd’s side is near perfect. They have a fantastic balance of attack and defence, whilst they’re also blessed with a good mix of youth and experience.

But could the Red Devil’s summer get even better?

It’s transfer deadline day, and whilst Man Utd’s spending may be over, could Jose Mourinho have one more trick up his sleeve?

There are a host of players that could be moving today, and Man Utd would be wise to get involved.

With that said, Man Utd should try and sign these 2 players before the window closes…

 Riyad Mahrez

Riyad Mahrez won the Premier League Player of the Year award a couple of years ago, and so there is no doubting his talent.

Playing at a club like Man Utd, a side that is full of top players, he would be very well placed to regain that form and really impress.

He wouldn’t come cheaply, but with Wayne Rooney gone, the Red Devils could do with a bit more creativity in the midfield.

At 26-years-old, he is in his prime, and a move really does make sense.

 Ross Barkley

Another option for Mourinho could be Ross Barkley.

Sure, he’s currently out injured, but that could have an impact on his price tag, and given that his current contract ends next summer, a cheaper deal could be found.

He won’t be cheap by any means, but he would represent a long-term option for Jose Mourinho, and a homegrown one at that.

A talented midfielder, he would be a valuable depth option for the Red Devils were he to sign.
