Metro have managed to get Arsenal fans looking over to the bar with a huge amount of curiosity after they claimed that Arsene Wenger could be willing to bring Carl Jenkinson back to the club.
The defender has of course been on loan with West Ham United this season and has done a decent job for the east London side, but as one of our regulars notes, managing to shine for West Ham and for Arsenal at the highest level are two very different things.
We think that the Gunners should hand a chance to the Englishman but this would be a huge blow to West Ham, who had hoped they could land Jenkinson this summer on a permanent deal.
