Footballers have plenty of time now on their hands with no competitive football going on, and Rangers players are no different.
Jermain Defoe will probably be one of the few who will not be too upset to see the sport suspended purely from a selfish perspective. The 37-year-old has already missed 13 games this term due to injury after bagging 17 goals in 32, and this break will give him the time to return to full fitness for when everything does eventually start up again.
He is in good spirits if his latest video is anything to go by. In association with the club’s official Twitter page, he recorded himself bringing Ibrox to his back garden, playing the club’s anthem “Simply the best” on loudspeaker.
