‘Deluded,’ ‘He can’t manage at Arsenal’ - Gunners fans react to damning comparison to Spurs

Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have had to endure a difficult season this term, partly due to the fact they’ve had to witness North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur enjoy further success.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have all but secured their place in the Champions League again next season and still have an outside chance of winning the Premier League, sitting a whopping 14 points above Arsenal heading into this weekend’s North London derby.

Whilst the Gunners do have a game in hand, victory for Spurs on Sunday would see the Lilywhites open up a 17 point advantage over Arsene Wenger’s side- meaning they’d need just one more point to secure their first finish over Arsenal in two decades.

There’s certainly been plenty to talk about ahead of this weekend’s huge fixture and Thierry Henry, Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer, has given a damning assessment of the Gunners squad- stating only Alexis Sanchez would get into Spurs’ side.

Those comments have sent shockwaves through Arsenal Twitter, who have been left debating whether any other players in their squad are genuinely better than their Spurs counterparts.
