Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for the new campaign to get going this season as they are back in the Premier League.
Of course, survival has to be the main aim for the Magpies but try telling their fans that – they want a top half finish!
For sure, with Rafa Benitez in charge they might just be able to wrangle that, too, and he’ll certainly back himself to get a tune out of his players.
Indeed, ones like Ayoze Perez have the ability to cut it at this level, for sure, and Benitez will surely be looking to coax such performances out of him from the get go.
Perez, meanwhile, recently tweeted about his return to Tyneside for pre-season training and fans certainly had plenty to say about that.
